Poison Centre

  • The following products must be notified to the INTCF (Instituto Nacional de Toxicología y Ciencias Forenses) via ECHA's PCN portal:
    • Classified chemical mixtures
    • Household cleaning products
    • Biocides
    • Unclassified detergents
    • Voluntary registrations
  • A company must wait until the INTCF has granted permission before the telephone number of the SIT (National Emergency Number) can be stated on the SDS or label. This is visible in the PCN portal when the product in question is notified.
  • There are no additional costs associated with registrations.
  • The poison control centre provides free advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The telephone number of the SIT may be stated on the SDS and the label.
