• There are no deviations from the general rules in the EU.

Poison Centre

• The following products must be notified to the INTCF (Instituto Nacional de Toxicología y Ciencias Forenses) via ECHA's PCN portal:
  • Classified chemical mixtures
  • Household cleaning products
  • Biocides
  • Unclassified detergents
  • Voluntary registrations
• A company must wait until the INTCF has granted permission before the telephone number of the SIT (National Emergency Number) can be stated on the SDS or label. This is visible in the PCN portal when the product in question is notified.
• There are no additional costs associated with registrations.
• The poison control centre provides free advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The telephone number of the SIT may be stated on the SDS and the label.

National product register

• There are no further national demands or product registries.

Detergents

• Detergents must be registered with the PCN portal regardless of their classification. This results in that an SDS is also required for non-hazardous detergents.
• Non-classified detergents also have to mention the poison centre telephone number on the label and SDS.
• For detergents there are additional label requirements:
  • Manténgase fuera del alcance de los niños.
  • No ingerir.
  • En caso de accidente consultar al Servicio Médico de Información Toxicológica, teléfono + 34 91 562 04 20.
