For less urgent cases the number 010-456 6700 (also 24/7) is available. For general or preventive questions regarding acute poisoning 010-456 6700 can be called on weekdays between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

National product register

  • There is a national product register in Sweden, KEMI. There is an obligation for the Swedish importer or producer of chemical products (regardless of classification) to notify these products with the full composition in the KEMI-database.
  • For non-Swedish manufacturers that export products to Sweden, there is a possibility to register the product in the KEMI-database. If a non-Swedish producer registers the product, the composition does not have to be made known to the Swedish importer (PiP-registration). The Swedish importer can notify the product via a specific notification number (A-number) and fulfil his/her obligation without knowledge of the composition of the product.
